Portfolio Actions and Rebalancing
Simply go to Managed Portfolios > Factsheets, then select your specific portfolio from the top-right dropdown menu.
Each portfolio factsheet includes:
- Historical performance (various time periods)
- Portfolio composition and asset allocation
- Benchmark comparison (where applicable)
- Key statistics such as risk metrics
MAPS rebalancing is mandated to be done at least once a year to ensure that your portfolio allocations do not significantly stray from the targeted allocation.
However, due to the nature of financial markets and the continual improvement in our range of products, rebalancing and changing of allocations or products could very well be done more than once a year depending on the environment.
Portfolio actions and rebalancing are conducted by the portfolio manager when there is a need to either; rebalance the portfolio back to its target asset allocation, or alter the current asset allocation and/or product mix within the portfolios after a review.
As there will be switch-transactions being made during the rebalancing process, do not be alarmed if your portfolio and profit values fluctuate during the period.
