Processing Fee (based on nominal): 0.35% (subject to min SGD 10) and 0.1% for bonds and SGS order respectively
[(SGD 250,000 * 105.69)/100] + (250,000 * 0.35%) + SGD 4,772.92
= 264,225 + 875 + 4,772.92
= SGD 269,872.92 (estimated amount payable)
Important Note:
To enable the processing of the Bond Purchase order, we will include a 3% buffer for Range Order and 5% buffer for Market Order (excluding Limit Order) into the final estimated payment amount when you place the buy order online. This buffer is to cater for changes of market prices, accrued interest and/ or currency conversion.
Bond order received before the transaction cut off time will be processed on the same day. The cut off time for bond is at 5pm on any business day. Order(s) placed on/after 5pm on a business day or on a non-business day will be processed on the next business day.
Once the bond order is matched successfully with our counterparty, the order will be transacted.
Bond purchase transactions placed via Post-Trade-Payment mode will only be reflected in holdings after the full payment has been received.
Yes, all buy order for Bonds and SGS bonds will depend on the Bond’s available liquidity and may take up to 4 business days to be fulfilled. In the event that the order is unable to execute during this period, the buy order will become expired and you will need to replace a new buy order again.
If you have selected Auto-Sweep Account as payment method, your balance in Auto-Sweep Account will remain in the Auto-Sweep Account if the bond order is unfulfilled. The investment amount that we have earmarked for your bond purchase will be also released after the order is unfulfilled.

If you have selected Cash Account as your payment method, the excess money will be released into the respective Cash Account(s).
If you have selected Auto-Sweep Account as your payment method, the unutilised money will be released into your Auto-Sweep Account balance.
