You can use the eGIRO service in your FSM Global account for deductions related to Unit Trust and MAPS Regular Savings Plans (RSP), as well as for Cash Account and Auto-Sweep top-up plans and one-time top-ups.

You can apply eGIRO via FSM Global website or Mobile App.

Via FSM Global Website
Step 1: Go to Account Settings > New eGIRO Arrangement.
Step 2: Select the bank you wish to apply, and you will be redirected to the bank’s website to complete the application.

Via FSM Global Mobile App
Step 1: Go to Menu > Activated Products
Step 2: Select the Services tab > New eGIRO Arrangement
Step 3: Select the bank you wish to apply, and you will be redirected to the bank’s website to complete the application.

Once submitted, you will receive the eGIRO outcome within the same day.

No. Currently, FSM Global do not charge any fees on using eGIRO. However, some banks impose a service charge when there is a failed deduction. Therefore, it is important to ensure sufficient funds in your eGIRO bank account. You may contact your bank to find out on these charges.

The eGIRO is a new initiative, therefore certain account types are yet to be supported by the participating banks. Generally, Joint-All bank* account type are not available for eGIRO application on FSM Global portal until the banks support it.

*Joint-All bank account type requires all bank account holders' signature to authorize transaction.

There is no restriction on applying for eGIRO, and you may submit your application at any time.

However, the setup, termination, or amendment of Unit Trust and MAPS Regular Savings Plans (RSP), as well as Cash Top-Up plans, remains subject to the RSP freezing period, which runs from the 27th of the month to the 12th of the following month.

You can terminate your eGIRO via FSM Global (web or app) at Cash Solutions > eGIRO Arrangement > Linked GIRO Arrangements.

Please note that online termination via FSM Global (iFAST) is available from the 13th to the 26th of each month.

If you terminate via your bank, the status will not be updated on FSM Global. Please email clienthelp@fundsupermart.com with proof of termination (showing your name, bank account number, and “Terminated” status).
