Home content insurance is not the same as HDB’s fire insurance plan.

Home content insurance insures for building and structure, home content, furniture, valuables, renovation, personal liability, alternative accommodation arrangement and more. On the other hand, HDB’s fire insurance insures for fire damage to the building, structures, fixtures and fittings provided by HDB or its approved developers.

No, our pet insurance plan currently only provides coverage for dog/puppy, and cat/kitten.

For Income’s HappyTail insurance, your pet must undergo a clinical examination by a vet within a specified time period in order to be eligible for cover.

The start date is dependent on the type of maid you are hiring:

1. New maid: On or before the maid's arrival date in Singapore.
2. Transfer maid: The agreed transfer date which is also the day you apply for issuance of the maid's new work permit.
3. Renewal maid: One day after the expiry date of the current work permit.

This is a requirement by MOM. The extra two months of insurance provides coverage for your maid in Singapore during the repatriation period following the expiration of their work permit.

The insurer will transmit the Security Bond details to MOM. Upon successful transmission, you may then proceed to the MOM website to renew or issue your maid’s work permit.
