Website: Go to Transact > Bondsupermart Live to proceed accordingly.

App: Click on Transact > Bonds  > Buy / Sell / View Prices to proceed accordingly.

The minimum investment amount is dependent on each individual bond. Generally, the minimum initial investment amount for wholesale SGD denominated bonds is S$250,000. For Retail Bonds, SGS Bonds and T-Bills*, the minimum initial investment amount is S$1,000.

You can go to Bonds > Bond Selector to shortlist different bonds based on the list of criteria.

You can also choose to select bonds, which have been categorized as “Fixed Deposit Alternative”, “Stable Income Seeker” and “High Yield Seeker”.

The formula is: [(Nominal Value * Indicative Price) / 100] + Processing Fee (based on nominal value) + Indicative Accrued Interest

Bond name: AAREIT 4.350% 05Dec2019 Corp (SGD)
Nominal Value/Investment amount: SGD 250,000
Indicative price: SGD105.69
Indicative Accrued Interest: SGD 4,772.92
Date to place the order: 5th May 2015 
Processing Fee (based on nominal): 0.35% (subject to min SGD 10) and 0.1% for bonds and SGS order respectively

[(SGD 250,000 * 105.69)/100] + (250,000 * 0.35%) + SGD 4,772.92
= 264,225 + 875 + 4,772.92
= SGD 269,872.92 (estimated amount payable)

Important Note:
To enable the processing of the Bond Purchase order, we will include a 3% buffer for Range Order and 5% buffer for Market Order (excluding Limit Order) into the final estimated payment amount when you place the buy order online. This buffer is to cater for changes of market prices, accrued interest and/ or currency conversion.

Accrued interest is paid to the seller of the bond to compensate for the loss of the expected coupon to be received.

You can choose to pay with any currency during the online purchase. Conversion rate will be based on T (Transaction date) + 1 business day's rate of the order.

The exchange rate will be based on the T (Transaction date) + 1 business day of your order.

Bond order received before the transaction cut off time will be processed on the same day. The cut off time for bond is at 5pm on any business day. Order(s) placed on/after 5pm on a business day or on a non-business day will be processed on the next business day.

Once the bond order is matched successfully with our counterparty, the order will be transacted.

Bond purchase transactions placed via Cash Account or Auto-Sweep payment mode will be reflected in your holdings on T (Transaction Date) upon successful execution.

Bond purchase transactions placed via Post-Trade-Payment mode will only be reflected in holdings after the full payment has been received. 

Yes, all buy order for Bonds and SGS bonds will depend on the Bond’s available liquidity and may take up to 4 business days to be fulfilled. In the event that the order is unable to execute during this period, the buy order will become expired and you will need to replace a new buy order again.

Yes, we will send an email notification if the bond order is unfulfilled and the money will be credited back into the respective currency Cash Account in your FSMOne account.

If you have selected Auto-Sweep Account as payment method, your balance in Auto-Sweep Account will remain in the Auto-Sweep Account if the bond order is unfulfilled. The investment amount that we have earmarked for your bond purchase will be also released after the order is unfulfilled.

To view the Cash Account, please go to My Account > Cash Solutions.

If you have selected Cash Account as your payment method, the excess money will be released into the respective Cash Account(s).

If you have selected Auto-Sweep Account as your payment method, the unutilised money will be released into your Auto-Sweep Account balance.

As long as your bond order is not transacted or fulfilled, you can void the order. Please login and go to My Account > Processing /Pending Transactions > click on ‘Void’ button.
