Since the launch of stocks and ETFs on FSMOne.com back in 2016, we have been pushing out various initiatives to allow our clients to potentially benefit from higher returns with low trading costs on FSMOne.com.
In November 2017, FSMOne.com also became the first retail broker in Singapore to offer a permanent flat fee of S$10 when trading SGX stocks/ETFs for our Gold & Diamond clients, regardless of their investment amount.
With effect from 18 January 2020, we will be extending the S$10* flat fee commission rate for SGX stocks/ETFs to Silver clients permanently. Now, other than our FSM Diamond & Gold clients, our Silver clients will also get to enjoy lower trading costs!
Be Savvy, Shine Like Silver, Gold & Diamond
Are you a frequent investor of SGX stocks/ETFs? The flat fee commission rate of S$10 for Silver/Gold/Diamond clients ensures you can save tremendously. It's time to aggregate your investment assets (Unit Trusts, Bonds, Stocks, ETFs) on FSMOne.com to benefit from the lower commission rates – the qualifying AUA is from S$100,000.
Illustration:
If you are investing in a SGX-listed stock/ETF and have just placed a trade totalling S$20,000, the upfront commission fees that you may be paying outside FSMOne.com may be in the range of between $24 to $361.
On the other hand, on FSMOne.com, with our non-promotional commission rate at 0.08%, General tier clients will be paying $16 for a similar valued trade, whereas Silver, Gold and Diamond clients will just be paying a S$10 flat fee for the same trade! For investors who trade frequently, these trading costs may eventually add up and erode their profits (or exacerbate their losses). Do note as well that the SGX trades can be amalgamated, for more potential savings – read here on how this works.
