#1 Link your Central Depository Account (CDP) with us
Traditionally, when you invest in stocks or ETFs using some of the retail brokers, the securities are custodised at CDP. That is why in the past, besides opening a brokerage account with the broker, you were also required to open a CDP account.
Here at FSMOne, you can link up your existing CDP account with us, so that you can make investing in SGX securities seamless (more on that in fact number 2 below!).
The linkage will be approved within a week. Please follow these steps to link your existing CDP account to FSMOne account:
- Go to Trade with FSMOne webpage
- Click on Download CDP Securities Account Linkage (Individual) Form
- Print out and fill in your details and CDP account number
- Sign off and mail it back the original copy to us
- Wait for our email notification to confirm the linkage is successful
#2 Sell your CDP shares using our FSMOne trading platform
Once your CDP linkage is approved successfully, you can go to our Live Trading page and get started. You can also refer to our article on 3 Simple Steps to Kick-start Your Stocks/ETFs Journey With Us! to read about the key things to know on how to use our trading interface.
If you wish to sell your existing shares held at CDP, you can follow these steps to do so.
Step 1: Select the stock that you wish to sell and a disclaimer message will be shown. Please take some time to read through regarding your holdings with CDP to ensure no short selling possibility.

Step 2: Take note that the selected account indicate it is a CDP account and the < Action > shows < Sell via CDP >. You will also find that there is a limit to the sell amount that you can transact on our platform.

Acknowledge the declaration and key in your password to proceed.

You will notice this table at the top right hand side of the < Live Trading > page.

Click on < Subscribe > and you will be redirected to the subscription form page to select the various options that are available.
