LSEG Lipper Fund Awards – Singapore Winners

What is the LSEG Lipper Fund Awards?

The LSEG Lipper Fund Awards are granted annually to highlight funds and fund companies that have excelled in delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted performance relative to their peers. They are based on the Lipper Leader for Consistent Return rating – an objective, quantitative measure calculated over 3, 5, and 10 years. The fund with the highest score in each eligible classification wins. Crucially, this is not a popularity contest or a single-year performance prize as it rewards sustained excellence across market cycles.

How are the winners decided?

Winners are decided through a purely quantitative process – no applications or judging panels. Every eligible fund registered for sale in the country with at least 3 years of performance history is automatically considered. The winner for each fund category would have scored highest on the Lipper Leader for Consistent Return rating over 3, 5, and 10-year periods. Crucially, it rewards consistency and risk-adjusted returns rather than raw performance, so a fund that delivered steady gains will beat one that swung wildly for a higher average. Group awards, which recognise the best overall fund house, are determined by the firm with the strongest average scores across all its eligible funds within an asset class.

Who are the winners?

In terms of asset classes, the winners are dividend into Bonds, Equities and Mixed Asset – with each asset class splitting further into regions and sectors. The winners highlighted will be linked to their respective factsheets on FSM Global. If the share class of  winning fund is currently not available on FSM, a similar share class will be linked. If there is no similar share class, the link to the factsheet will be omitted.
