
What Is Wise?
Wise (formerly TransferWise) is an international money transfer platform that lets you send, hold, and convert money across more than 40 currencies.
For global investors, Wise is particularly useful as a way
to handle foreign currencies such as USD and many more. Transfers to FSM Global
typically take 2 hours (instead of days like other options), and the whole
process is easily done via the Wise app or website.
While your initial transfer will seem slightly long, all subsequent
transactions will be significantly faster and smoother because fewer steps are
required after you’ve set up FSM as your recipient in Wise.
Let’s go!
Step 1: Get Your FSM USD Deposit Details
- Head to FSM Global and login to your Account (on the top right hand corner)
- Once you are logged in, go to Deposit (Top-Up Instructions)
- Under Add Money, select USD as the currency
- Select Telegraphic Transfer Instruction as the deposit method
- Keep this page open so that you can refer to the details

Step 2: Initiate the Transfer in Wise
With your FSM Global deposit details in hand, head over to your Wise account.
- Log in to your Wise account
- Press Send


4. Select USD

5. Select Bank Details

6. Select Business or Charity

7. Select SWIFT and refer to FSM’s USD Deposit Details on the FSM website as mentioned earlier in the article to insert the details. Please ensure that these details are entered correctly.

8. Under Country, select Singapore
9. Under Postal Code, insert 049315, then select “10 Collyer Quay Ocean Financial Centre”
10. Press Continue

11. Insert the amount you wish to transfer.
Do note that you are likely to incur TT (Telegraphic Transfer) fees, and as such, the amount you send will be slightly higher than the amount received.
*The approximate TT fees are
about USD 20 flat. However, please check via your Wise app to have confirmation
of the fees.
12. Check that all details are correct and that you have entered your FSM Account Number in the Reference field. This is vital in order for us to place the funds in your FSM Account.

13. Click Send now
Step 3: Wait for the Funds to Arrive in FSM
It typically takes 2 hours for Wise to processes the transfer. Once the funds are receive by FSM, we will credit the amount to your FSM account within a few hours.
You can check your FSM Cash Account balance under Account Summary or Cash Solutions.
If funds have been successfully sent from Wise but are not appearing in your FSM account after 1 business day, please reach out to us for further assistance.
