Incepted by the Ministry of Finance, the Supplementary Retirement Scheme or SRS for short, is a voluntary savings scheme that is part of the Singapore government’s multi-pronged strategy to address financial needs of an ageing population. It aims to encourage and help individuals save more for retirement

But the SRS account earns a meagre 0.05% p.a. interest if you keep it with the SRS Agent bank, which defeats the purpose of building it for retirement. This is why investing your SRS monies is crucial. Hence, we at FSMOne are pioneering the industry's first initiative to enable linkage across all Agent Banks (DBS, OCBC, UOB) for Regular Saving Plans (RSP) on ETFs using SRS monies.

Investing a lump sum can be daunting for some investors. A more effective strategy might be adopting a disciplined approach through an RSP Plan. Automating your investments helps eliminate emotions and anxiety during uncertain or high-volatility periods. Furthermore, investing your SRS monies provides attractive tax benefits: up to $15,300 annually for Singapore citizens and permanent residents, and up to $35,700 for foreigners.

Come join us on 4th December 2024 (Wednesday) at 7pm as we hear from Nikko Asset Management and FSMOne on taking advantage of the benefits of RSP to maximise your investments with your SRS monies.
