Critical illness (CI) insurance offers financial protection if you are diagnosed with a critical illness and may cover for more than the 37 standard critical illnesses as defined by the Life Insurance Association Singapore (LIA). Plans provide a lump sum payout on diagnosis of a covered condition and is intended to help the insured to cushion the financial impact.
