For the recent market corrections in most of the markets, what is the best global allocation for an investor who can tolerate risk and for 2-3 yr horizon ?
Emergent market to catch bottom ?

My opinion is

A. Japan market, eg. Affin hwang japan growth fund
B. world/global fund eg. Aberdeen world equity class fund, CIMB global titan fund
C. REIT fund, eg AmAsia Pacific REIT fund/REIT plus fund
d. ASEAN fund also not bad, but malaysia is high volatile

The above is just my opinion only, maybe other expert or experience investors / professional may share your opinion.

Thanks.

I am sharing this because I believe everyone should really do in-depth research as to his own investment philosophy.

For me, I don't care about diversification.
Diversification just means an average and non-optimized position.

My one fund has been doing 12% at 1 year mark, and was up 15% before Greece, and now down at 8%.
But I still do not worry, because I have been expecting a global meltdown, and I am still waiting for it.

Anyway, the following article is a good read, but bear in mind Peter Schiff is a gold bug and pessimist.
But what he says, to me, it makes sense.

So if Peter Schiff makes sense, the next cycle will be in Asia and Emerging Markets.

Be Safe, be Well.
