iFAST Corporation Ltd. Supports Students Care Service’s “Challenge for Children 2016” Charity Fundraising Race

Join iFAST Corporation Ltd. and Students Care Service in our "Challenge for Children 2017" Charity Fundraising Race!

Come 18 March 2017 (Saturday), iFAST Corporation, the parent company of Fundsupermart.com, will once again be co-organising a charity fundraising event "Challenge for Children 2017" (SCS C4C 2017) with Students Care Service (SCS), a registered charity and a member of National Council of Social Service.
This year, other than extending invitations to various partners from the asset management and financial advisory industry to participate in the event, we are also inviting you, our valuable Fundsupermart.com customers, to join us in this charity race, and together lend a helping hand to Students Care Service, the beneficiary charity organisation for the event.

When iFAST Meets "i Light"
As one of the partner event of i Light Marina Bay, the SCS C4C 2017 charity fundraising race will be set against the amazing backdrop comprising a variety of light art installations and the picturesque Singapore River night scene, where both corporate teams and other open teams will take on challenges across Marina Bay. i Light is Asia's leading sustainable light art festival which features innovative and environmentally sustainable light art installations by creative talents from around the world.

For more information on i Light Marina Bay, and to catch a glimpse at how the Marina Bay area will look like come March during the sustainable light art festival event, visit: http://www.ilightmarinabay.sg/.

Race for a Good Cause
The SCS C4C race aims to raise $50,000 to support the care and development of about 6,500 students that SCS reaches out to annually.

This year, teams will run (or brisk walk) around Marina Bay where they will be given several tasks to complete. Teams can also attempt game stations, which are non-strenuous challenges that the entire team can choose to attempt to achieve more points.

Additionally, each station also showcases games that highlight difficulties faced by students, such as dyslexia, and will be manned by student leaders and volunteers. As station masters, SCS students will have the opportunity to build up confidence when interacting with adults, and learn to carry themselves in a positive manner.

Do pop by the SCS C4C Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SCSchallenge/ to catch a glimpse of how the race was like in 2016, and see how participants in SCS C4C 2016 enjoyed the race!

Donate to Students Care Service with Your Reward Points
Other than participating in the above-mentioned event, FSM investors can also donate their reward points to SCS with their FSM Reward Points! Students Care Service is currently in the FSM Rewards Programme catalogue as a beneficiary charity organisation, and our investors are able to redeem their reward points and convert them into cash donations, lending a hand to the organisation to support their various programmes.

About Students Care Service

Students Care Service (SCS) is a registered charity and a member of National Council of Social Service. SCS has been serving children and youths in Singapore since 1976 and remains committed to enabling them to maximise their potential. SCS do this through providing services in schools, in the community and through their centres, to children and youths who are in need of support, underprivileged by their circumstances or present at-risk profiles.

The children and youths that they serve are connected through schools, police, hospital, community, parents or peers. SCS's work with them is made possible with the support of partners, funders and donors.
